VII Chakra - Sahasrara

The Seventh Chakra, or “Crown Chakra,” exchanges, stores, and channels universal energy, nourishing both the physical and energetic body. Our connection with our spiritual nature is supported through it; it is the seat of intuition, wisdom, mental faculties, openness to the divine, bliss, and transcendence. It is linked to cosmic consciousness (Jung’s collective unconscious and the Akasha for Eastern traditions), mysticism, and Karma. Its characteristic color is white, and its keyword is “I transcend.” It is located at the top center of the head. On a physical level, it governs the pineal gland, pituitary gland, brain, and nervous system, and if this energy center is unbalanced, disorders related to these areas may arise. Emotionally, unknown fears, bigotry, lack of identity, and lack of inner spirituality may appear.
