Tibetan Mala — 54 Lava Stones – Protection & I Chakra

This Tibetan Mala is made of 54 lava stones and serves as a talisman that protects against negative energies emitted by people or places. The color black traditionally symbolizes protection, repels surrounding negative energies, and shields from manipulation attempts. Lava stone is born from the fire of the Earth and is a powerful ally for rebalancing the First Chakra (Muladhara in Sanskrit). It promotes grounding and stability, helps reduce anxiety and stress, and provides a deep sense of inner well-being. This stone enhances willpower, self-confidence, determination, and the courage to face change, infusing strength, perseverance, and resilience. The blue stone completing the Mala is Apatite, which stimulates serenity and the desire to live a full life, away from sadness, apathy, and depression. It is good practice to purify lava stone frequently by smudging with incense, Palo Santo, or white sage. Natural running water (river or spring) also helps wash away negative energetic build-ups, but the stones must then be dried thoroughly with a natural-fiber cloth to avoid excessive moisture absorption.
To recharge it, simply leave it overnight under the light of the full Moon, allowing it to receive the regenerating energy necessary for its balance.
